inLens handles student work. This page sets out what a school shares with us, what we do with it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
Assessment material a school uploads or creates: question papers, answer keys, scanned answer sheets, marks, generated report cards and the analytics derived from them.
Account details for the staff who use inLens — name, role, school, work email and phone number — and the demo requests submitted from this site.
What we do with it
Evaluation material is processed to propose marks against the answer key the school supplies, to generate report cards, and to produce the class and student analytics shown inside the product.
There is no student-facing or parent-facing login. Reports are generated for teachers to share through the channels the school already uses.
Retention and deletion
Retention periods, deletion requests and the process for exporting a school’s data are set out in the agreement signed with the school.
